TOP CHEF REPORT:

Rocci Dispirto guest judges on this weeks top chef. The chefs begin with a breakfast quick fire challenge. They are asked to make a breakfast amuse bouche. Rocco did not like Daniel and Fabio's dishes. Fabio did not use bacon, which Rocco mentioned he loved. He loved Stefan's take on the huevos rancheros , and Leah and Jamies mini open faced sandwiches. He picked Leah as the winner. He gave her a copy of his new book "Rocco Gets Real" and she also earned immunity.

For their elimination challenge, the Chef's have to prepare a cooking spot to air on the Today Show. When the Chef's are shopping Fabio jumps behind the counter and cuts his own piece of fish! Then Gene and Hosea follow. I have never seen the contestants do that before. It was interesting. Alex is the only one who decides he is going to do a dessert, he thinks this will set him apart and he might be graded less harshly if it its as good. He is going to attempt a rose creme brulee. That sounds really hard to make for a cooking demo on live television. Very ambitious of him! Carla kind of annoys me a little bit? What about you?

Arianne makes a beefsteak tomato salad. Leah makes a frisee salad with a fried duck egg and bacon. She served her egg raw. BIG MISTAKE. Alex runs out of time while making his creme brulee! The judges are disappointed with it. Jeff makes a malfouf roll with shrimp. I think he used some pretty complicated words for a morning televison show. The judges looked pleased! Fabio's tuna and carrots looks delicious!! Danie makes a skirt steak that seems popular with the judges. Stefan's soup was popular. Melissa's dish was too spicy for Tom. Leah, Carla and Radika all ran out of time. However, Leah's dish sounded great!

Lucky for Leah that she had immunity. The judeges were disappointed with how nervous she was. They had mixed feelings about Carla. They loved Daniel's personality, but did not like how much smoke he created while cooking. They thought Stefan's soup was really great and they thought it was so smart that he swapped out an already ready soup to serve. I agree. They thought his personality was a little dull. They thought Arianne hit a homerun, looks like after a rough start she's headed for the top!

Melissa, Alex and Jamie were the bottom three. No surprise there. Jeff, Fabio and Arianne were chosen as the top three. Jamie seems to have a really bad attitude and is a sore loser. I am getting a little tired of her.

The top three are woken up at 2am and brought the to morning show where they will do their 2 minute cooking demonstrations and the hosts will judge them live on TV.

On the today show Kathly Lee, Merideth and the other girls are asked to taste the three and chose a winner. Kathy Lee spit out Jeff's shrimp. Arianne is chosen as the winner. Rocco presents her with a tool kit. A gift I would love love love to have!! Arianne will also be presenting a dish on the Today Show for 5 minutes. What a great opportunity for her!!

Alex was eliminated for his inability to produce a creme brulee. His upcoming wedding was a poor excuse for why he was not focused.
