ALMOND JOY

This sweet treat is a mixture of three olives vanilla vodka, bacardi COCO rum and chocolate liqueur, served with a chocolate and coconut rim.  Be careful this may seem like a sweet and innocent cocktail but it will knock you on your ass!  Enjoy, slowly and with caution.

Blue Martini is a cool local spot in Las Vegas's Town Square area, with tons of shops and other restaurants.  The flat breads and spinach dip are amazing, but my favorite dish to order when I'm looking for something a little more substantial is the whiskey chicken, which is now served on skewers next to dirty rice and two dipping sauces.  The food is reasonably priced, but martini's start at $12.00.

Runner up for cocktail of the month is the Mexican City Mule from DOS CAMINOS at the Palazzo Hotel on the Las Vegas Strip.  This mixture of absolut ruby red, ginger and lime is refreshing and just the right hint of sweetness.   It is definitely meant be be drank on a warm summer day around 4:00pm.  It also is really easy to make.  I think it will be a hit at your next BBQ.  UGH!! Is it summer yet?!!!
